About Me

My Story
My name is Kelsey Peterson, and I’m an Advertising & Public Relations student at Loyola University Chicago. I’ve always loved how stories shape the way we see the world and how communication can build relationships between people, ideas, and communities. That love is what makes me feel so lucky to be able to study at Loyola’s School of Communication, in a city alive with conversation.
At Loyola, I’m building a strong foundation in communications, learning not only the strategies that make messages impactful, but also the ethics of meaningful communcation. I’m eager to keep exploring the evolving digital landscape and to grow as both a storyteller and strategist in this field.
Beyond the classroom, I find inspiration in everyday life, by discovering new places in the city, engaging with my peers, or just taking a moment to watch Lake Michigan. I try my hardest to approach both academics and life with curiosity, optimism, and a genuine desire to learn.
I bring a mix of strategic thinking and adaptability, into everything I do, along with an eagerness to keep developing the skills that will help me thrive in the communications field.
